We just had a visit from two vintage Piper Cubs. They are on a mission to visit every county in Ohio as part of a fundraising effort to create an annual scholarship fund for Ohio students. This mission is sponsored by the Kent State University Foundation. Their goal is to raise $500 in each of Ohio’s 88 counties. The planes were piloted by Ron Swik and Joe Murray. Joe is a journalism professor at Kent State. They hope to complete the mission by May 20th.
