March Forth
“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours…” Henry David Thoreau
Recently, we have “Sprung Forward,” there was a “Full (Worm) Moon,” another “Mercury Retrograde” has ended, “Friday the 13th” looms ahead (as I write this article), and the “Spring Equinox” arrives a day early on March 19th, having had the extra “Leap Day” on February 29th. My goodness, there is a lot going on in the cosmos during the month of March—my least favorite month of the year.
The March 17th St. Patrick’s Day celebration is the highlight of the month, as I eagerly dream of days ahead filled with sunshine, robins feasting on reappearing earthworms, buzzing bees, and aromatic spring flowers. Despite the dismal, rainy, and sporadic wet snowy days associated with this muddy time of year in the NW Ohio region, life does “march” on.
Dream On
Besides my dreams of warm sunny days, a friend asked me what life-time dreams were lying dormant that I had yet to fulfill. I struggled to respond. So many detours in life have taken me to where I am right now (which is not a bad place at all), but their question certainly gave me a cause to pause.
What about you? What are your dreams that are lying dormant you have yet to fulfill?
With so much galactic energy twirling around this month, what better time is there than now to awaken and unearth them, and then determinedly “march forth” in their pursuit! Turn those guaranteed detours into opportunities, as the act of pursuing your dreams and navigating around obstacles might be just as rewarding and enlightening as the actual achievement. We all know the old adage that the chase is often better than the conquest.
No matter your age or your situation, never give up on your dreams. Always believe and have faith that they will come to fruition. Strive to stay focused while “marching forth” during the month of March towards the ultimate destination. Again,
- Believe and have faith
- Strive to stay focused
- Anticipate and embrace detours as part of the journey
- “March Forth” and…
